JONATHAN NEYMAN FOUNDER / CEO

After traveling to fish the SOHO for many days over the last decade, Jonathan decided to make the dream for a fly shop a reality. He wanted to create a place where everyone could come before and after a day on the water. The Fly Box is a place where beginners, advanced anglers, and guides can gather as one fishing community.

Forrest was practically born with a fly rod in his hand. Around the shop he is known as a jack of all trades. If he isn’t guiding or managing the shop, you can probably find him chasing around his newborn baby.

Lovingly known as “River Mama”, Chelsia started
fly-fishing to keep up with her kids then found herself falling in love with the sport. After listening to many of Jonny’s crazy ideas, she knew that The Fly Box had to happen. At the shop, she keeps the books and the Deli squared away.

Sam grew up chasing bass on the fly in Alabama since a young lad. Currently studying marketing at ETSU, Sam has continued to fulfill his passion here in East TN on the tailwaters. If Sam isn’t standing behind the counter you can bet he’s out exploring new water.
